So another month has passed, and I've been using all kinds of products as the weather has gone from Spring to Winter all in one day!
so starting with skincare that really doesn't change that much!
I take my eye makeup off with the Beauty Pie Eye makeup Remover (members price £9). I really like this one as it's an bi-phase one that you shake up to disperse. It really takes all my makeup off with a few glides, it's great for my sensitive eyes too. A fraction of the price compared to all the equivalents like Lancôme and Clarins.
Then I cleanse with the Beauty Pie Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser (members price £10). This has the most luxurious texture, after messaging a little bit it turns to a sort of oil. I then wipe it off with my damp Primark Pads. These work really well, they are softer than any mit, flannel or gauze, perfect! £2.50 for a pack of 5.
Then for a the easy absorption of products I use a mineral spray, usually Evian or this one was Aqua Sens Cooling Mist Spray Savers £1
Because I wear quite a bit of makeup, I always second cleanse, and I use something quick, easy and effective like Garnier Micellar Water approx. £4.99. You can find this at almost any chemist or supermarket.
For maximum skincare results, the best motto is serum, oil then cream.
I'm using the Beauty Pie Japanfusion Deep Treatment Serum (members £15) This deep treatment serum is perfect for me, light, gentle and deep feeding and because serum goes deeply into the skin cells it plumps them up like little grapes, giving your skin that plumpness.
My favourite face oil, which I have been using for a while is the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse - Dry Oil. This is so lovely because, it smells lovely (call me shallow!) and is completely absorbed in a second, therefore not thick, tacky and sticky like so many other oils.
It totally nourishes and repairs. Using a face oil feeds the skin deeply, therefore letting the light reflect off the skin. It's what gives your skin the 'twinkle'.
So to top it off, or the icing on the cake is my moisturiser. This is the Revolution Miracle Cream, how great is this! £10 from Superdrug. A soft, rich, easily absorbed, great smelling cream that you can use day and night on the face, neck and chest. It really is a wonderful cream. I also use the Revolution Miracle Eye Cream, it's in a pot which I prefer, soft, gentle and super feeling, perfect Superdrug about £6.
For about two years now I always give myself a quick lymph drainage massage with a Rose Quartz stone, Superdrug £9.99. It makes a huge difference to reduce puffiness, add lift, massage headachey eye sockets, I've really noticed a difference.
I finish the lot off with a tiny bit of Dove Summer Revived gradual self tan, why? Because it gives me a tiny little glow!
I should add this only takes me a couple of minutes, so it's very doable and very rewarding! and I do it morning & night.
